6.5 x 14 Catalpa snare. Another steambent single ply shell from Vaughncraft. Wood is quite light, easy to work with and finish (tung oil on this one, my default finish ...) but also somewhat soft so care needs to be taken not to dent it. New, retro style 3 point Gibraltar throw.
